Why is this now affecting marking of exam papers/assessments?
On 20 April 2023 the University and College (UCU) announced that it would implement a marking and assessment boycott which lasted until 6 September 2023. This industrial action meant that some of our students did not receive all their marks at the end of the 2022-23 academic year.
Now that the boycott has ended, all outstanding marking and assessment will be marked and our plan is to return missing marks as soon as we get them. In some cases, extraordinary exam boards will need to be convened and this means the process may take a little longer. Our aim is to have all missing marks returned by no later than the end of November.
