What should I do if I feel uncomfortable crossing the picket line?
A picket line is a form of protest typically used by workers during a strike. It involves a group of people, often employees of a company, standing outside their workplace or another relevant location. They usually carry signs and chant slogans to raise awareness about their cause.
When you arrive on campus, you may see a picket line made up of UCU members outside some buildings. They might be holding signs or handing out leaflets, and you can talk to them and ask questions if you wish.
It is your decision whether to walk through the picket line or not. If you feel uncomfortable, you can choose not to do so, but please be aware that there may be a negative impact on your studies if you miss classes or assessments that have not been cancelled.
