Now that the marking and assessment boycott is over, when can I expect to receive my missing marks/final degree outcome?
The marking and assessment boycott ended on 6 September 2023. In normal circumstances, academic colleagues are asked to return assessment marks to students within 20 working days, before being progressed to Boards of Examiners meetings. In most cases marks must first be considered at module moderation boards and then at extraordinary examination boards before they can be finalised. Therefore, time must be factored in for these essential processes to take place.
As we have now entered a new academic year these meeting are being scheduled alongside teaching commitments and, as a result, we have asked students to allow until the end of November for all marks and final degree outcomes to be made available.
