FAQs for Parents
Can my family join me in the UK as my dependants?
If you are applying for a student visa, your family members (spouse, partner or children) can join you if you are studying on a programme which is a PhD or other doctoral qualification, or a research-based higher degree.
You may also be able to bring dependants if you are in receipt of a government scholarship or sponsorship and your programme is at least 6 months in duration.
