FAQs for Parents
I am a postgraduate student that teaches/demonstrates. My session has been cancelled due to strike action, will I still be paid for the work planned?
You should still be able to carry out your duties regardless of the academic colleague taking strike action. However, if you are supporting a colleague delivering a session e.g. lab or workshop, and the session has been cancelled, please check with the School Office to see if the session will be rescheduled. If the session is not rescheduled, you can then claim for the work planned but not undertaken.
