I am a member of staff and have now also become a student – can I merge my two IT accounts?

Guidance if you have both a staff and student University account.

If you are both a student and a member of staff you will have two separate IT accounts with an email address assigned to each account. It is not possible to merge the two accounts, but to avoid having to check both, you could set up a rule on the student account to redirect emails to the staff account.

You will still need to retain the login details for the student account, as you will need to access various systems as a student rather than with your staff login details.
