FAQs for Parents
How will my attendance be monitored during the industrial action?
During the industrial action, if you are not informed that a lecture has been cancelled or postponed you should assume it will take place and attend as normal. You should scan your smartcard in the normal way.
No student’s attendance record will be negatively affected by classes being cancelled as a result of industrial action, however, where you do attend an in-person event and record your attendance on entering the room, this will be noted on your student file.
