How does Newcastle University care for its students with disabilities?
We’re here to provide personalised support for students with physical or mental health disabilities, who are neurodivergent, or who have specific learning differences.
- Tailored academic support: We offer advice on adjustments and additional support for your studies. You don’t need a formal diagnosis or medical evidence, but any information you do have can help us better understand your needs
- Accessible learning resources: We can help you access tools and resources to support your learning, including assistive technologies such as Ally, Immersive Reader, and SensusAccess.
- Exam and study support: From alternative exam arrangements to study support and software, we’ll work with you to ensure you can access the support that’s right for you.
