How do I inform you of extenuating circumstances and how will they be taken into account?
If you need to inform us of your extenuating circumstances please upload any supporting statements or documents to the Apply to Newcastle Portal.
Should you have any issues using the Apply to Newcastle Portal, please consult our FAQs in the first instance. If you continue to have issues, please contact our IT Service Desk via this Enquiry Form.
If a third party (e.g. teacher, medical professional, or parent/carer) is sending information in support of your application please ask them to email: ug-admissions@ncl.ac.uk
We will usually not alter any offers that we make as a result of extenuating circumstances, but if an applicant misses their offer, we will take any extenuating circumstances into consideration if applicants miss out on their offer and may still be able to offer the applicant a place.
