FAQs for Parents
Can the Careers Service help me start a side hustle whilst I study?
Yes, our START UP advisers can help you with starting a side-hustle or a business idea that you can work on alongside your studies.
We have launched our very own dynamic pop-up shop based in King’s Gate to support students who have a side-hustle.
This is a fantastic opportunity to:
- Showcase Your Talent - Display your products in a bespoke retail space.
- Gain Real-World Experience - Learn the ins and outs of running a retail business.
- Expand Your Network - Connect with fellow student entrepreneurs and potential customers.
- Boost Your Brand - Increase visibility and grow your customer base.
How to Apply:
Visit our pop-up shop website and fill out our enquiry form or book an appointment with a START UP adviser to discuss your ideas, no idea is too small!
You can contact the START UP team by booking an online or in person appointment or submitting a query through MyCareer.
