FAQs for Parents
Can I volunteer to work for the NHS while I’m a student?
There are many student work experience opportunities available, including roles where you can volunteer to help the NHS deal with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Careers Service website offers information and advice on gaining NHS or healthcare related experience while you study.
You could also speak to Go Volunteer in the Students’ Union, as they may offer volunteering opportunities in the NHS or in a healthcare setting.
If you’d like to speak to a member of the Careers Service team about finding and applying for opportunities you can book an online appointment through MyCareer.
