Can I take a leave of absence/interruption of studies due to the impact a change of circumstances is having on my studies and learning opportunities?

If you wish to interrupt your studies or take a formal period of leave, please firstly discuss your options with your Degree Programme Director to ensure that this is the most appropriate course of action for you. If, after consideration of your options, you feel that you would prefer to take a break from your studies, you can choose to take a leave of absence/interruption of studies for a set period, and return next year, for example, at the start of the next academic year.
