I have a disruption flag against one of my modules in NESS, what does this mean?

When schools are aware that teaching has been disrupted due to industrial action, they work hard behind the scenes to ensure no student is disadvantaged.

If a school is aware of disruption to a specific module, a disruption flag will be added against that module in the NESS system. This flag indicates that the school is looking into the impact of the disruption at a cohort level.

Within NESS, disruption flags will look similar to this:

The flag reassures you that we are aware of the potential disruption and are assessing its impact. If any changes are required as a result, they will be communicated to you via Canvas by the module leader or module team.
