What safety measures will be put in place during the transport to my accommodation?

Guidance for international students travelling to campus who may need to quarantine on arrival.

We will be providing all international students with advice on travel safety precautions when arriving in the UK, when we confirm your booking. Everyone must wear a face mask when inside the airport terminal building.

Taxis and coaches will be used to transport you to your university accommodation. Where coaches will be used, social distancing measures will be in place and students will need to sanitise their hands when getting on and off the coach. You will be required to wear a face mask throughout the journey. Information of the Covid-19 precautions the coach company will be implementing can be provided closer to the time of your journey.

If you are being taken to your university accommodation by taxi, there will be only one student per taxi. You will need to sanitise your hands when getting in and out of the taxi and you will need to wear a face mask throughout the journey.
