Do I need a Smartcard?
Helpful information for students about Smartcards.
If you are going to be studying on the Newcastle campus, you will need to have a Smartcard and carry it at all times. You will also often need to scan your Smartcard to confirm your attendance at lectures. There’s advice on our Smartcards page about obtaining a Smartcard.
