FAQs for Parents
How do I access the Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD)?
Find out how to access University software from your own computer or device.
The student Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) has most of the software that is available on a standard University cluster PC. You can log in to it from a PC, laptop or tablet that is connected to the internet via https://go.ncl.ac.uk/itservice/wvd.
Once you have tried it, we would welcome your feedback and you can submit comments or suggestions via the online feedback form.
