How can I stay safe on campus during the Covid-19 pandemic?

Information and guidance for students on staying safe on campus.

All students and staff will be issued with a free safety pack, which includes a washable, reusable face mask, hand sanitiser which can be refilled at stations around campus, and a thermometer which you should use to check for symptoms of Covid-19.

We encourage you to use your face mask on campus in teaching areas and when you cannot maintain the 2m physical distancing rule. People with disabilities and mental or physical impairments who find it difficult to wear a face covering are exempt.

We are implementing one-way systems in our buildings with signs to help remind you, as well as floor markers to assist in 2m physical distancing. Campus helpers will be available to assist you in navigating around campus. All buildings will be deep cleaned before reopening, and we will continue to regularly thoroughly clean high contact areas including door handles, handrails, and buttons in lifts.

We are also using the SafeZone app, which can connect you to our University Security Team at any time if you are in need of help.
