What constitutes a ‘household’ in terms of the national restrictions that come into force from 5 November?

For those in University accommodation, a household is considered to be those students living in the same flat who share a kitchen and/or bathroom.

If you live alone, you can form a support bubble with one other household.

You can exercise, or visit outdoor public places, with the people you live with, your support bubble, or one person from another household but you cannot meet with people you don’t live with in a private garden. If you meet one person from another household, social distancing must be observed.
