Is present-in-person teaching mandatory to attend or voluntary?

Where in-person sessions are being held, students should attend unless they are self-isolating or shielding, and they have told us they are unable to attend in person. In these cases, students will be supported to study remotely.

If you are unable to attend ‘Present in Person’ classes on campus due to quarantine/self-isolation, you will need to notify your school by submitting an absence report if you have not done so already, or if your circumstances have changed.

There are a small number of programmes where students on particular stages cannot meet the learning outcomes without attending in-person, on-campus teaching and/or physical placement activities. If this applies to you, your school will have notified you. Please contact your school if you are unsure.
