FAQs for Parents
I have a module that is deemed to have passed. Can I resit the module?
Modules which have ‘Deemed to have passed’ as the module decision, will not require any resits, even if they have been returned with a failed mark. You can choose to resit the module as a second attempt but you will not be able to improve upon your stage average. This is due to your final mark for the module being capped at 40 and used to calculate your stage average. Your transcript however will show the mark you achieved in the resit. If you wish to consider this option, please discuss this with your Personal Tutor.
