FAQs for Parents
I am a Doctoral or MPhil student and I have submitted my thesis for examination, how will the marking and assessment boycott have affected me?
Normal examination processes have continued to be followed, in line with the Research Degree assessment regulations. Graduate Schools have continued to appoint two Examiners for Doctoral and MPhil examinations and send submitted theses to the appointed examiners to review in advance of the oral examination.
Our priority now that the marking and assessment boycott has ended will be to work through any delayed examination activities as a matter of priority.
If you have any queries about the status of your examination, please contact your Graduate School, who will be able to provide you with an update.
