Can I use public transport in Newcastle?

Guidance on using public transport, including the metro, in Newcastle as a result of local restrictions.

Whilst public transport is still operating, you are advised to only use it for essential purposes. If you do need to use public transport, you should adhere to the government’s guidance on safe travel

As parking is limited on campus, we suggest that you choose to walk or cycle to campus. We have over 2,000 cycle parking stands around campus, and new dedicated cycle lanes have been enhanced around the city.
